Transformation Takes Courage And A Holistic Plan

Historical Site Overview

Park Hill Industrial Corridor

The Park Hill Industrial Corridor was once an important manufacturing center in west Louisville, but over the years plant closures and relocations have resulted in job losses and a general decline in population and employment. Once home to factories such as Philip Morris, Fawcett Printing and Corhart Refractories, today the corridor remains home to several industrial companies, albeit, fewer then in the past. In addition to industrial activity, the area includes several residential communities, including a public housing development in place since the 1940’s. The City of Louisville has acknowledged the opportunity for revitalization, and Re:land Group intends to turn this corridor into an inclusive live, work and play destination.
